September 12-16 Abrusci's Italian Restaurant	"Dine to Donate" for Jefferson County Library Foundation at Abrusci's Italian Restaurant Where: Abrusci's Italian Restaurant 3244 Youngfield, Wheat Ridge, 303-232-2424 Reservations are strongly recommended, especially for parties over 4. Please present this voucher to ensure your purchase is counted. Directions: Take I-70 to 32nd Ave/Youngfield exit then make left off exit onto Youngfield. Go over 32nd then make your first right into the parking lot by Chili's. Apple Jack Liquor is behind Abrusci's.
October 21-24 Jefferson County Fairgrounds	Fall Whale of a Used Book Sale Over 95,000 books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, videos, maps and records. The Children's corner and Teen area located on the lower level has books from $.50 - $1.00. Most books from $.50-$2.25, videos and CDs $1, DVDs $2.50. books on tape $2. Collectible and better books in the Curiosity Corner are individually priced. Sunday is "Bag Day." For only $5, you can stuff as many items into a bag. Special Friends Only Preview Night, Thursday, October 21, from 6-8:30 p.m. Go to www.friendsofjcpl.org or join that night. Registration opens at 5 p.m. Book "scanners" and other "book scouting" devices will be prohibited during the Thursday Preview Sale only. Open to the public Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free admission. Held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, 15200 W. Sixth Avenue. To reach the Fairgrounds, take the Indiana Exit south from Sixth Avenue. Turn west onto the Sixth Avenue Frontage Road. Follow signs to the Fairgrounds.
November 19-20 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Belmar Library	Holiday Whale of a Used Book Sale Over 2,500 "best of the best" gently used books for sale - great for gift giving. Cookbooks, art, history, fiction and classics, children’s, crafts and hobbies, inspirational, holiday books, gardening, travel, audiobooks, videos, CDs, DVDs and more. Sale held in the Belmar Library meeting room. Another 2,000 books and gifts in the Friends Gift and Book Shop located inside the library.
December 3 10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Golden Library	Holiday Whale of a Used Book Sale 2,000 used books and gifts for sale all day. Library stays open until 8:30 p.m. as part of the City of Golden’s Candlelight Walk event.
December 4 12 noon - 4 p.m. Golden Library	Holiday Whale of a Used Book Sale Book and gift sale continues!
December 11 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Standley Lake Library	Mini Used Book Sale Over 500 gently used books. Great for gift giving for the holidays. A selection of fiction, nonfiction, CDs and DVDs for adults and children.
