How do I become a Friend?

It’s easy! Just click here for a pdf file of our Membership Application Form. An individual membership is just $20 (senior/student is $15). Other membership levels are also available. This tax-deductible (if you itemize) contribution entitles you to receive:

• A special Friends Membership Insignia for your Library card
• A Friends window decal to advertise your support of your library system
• A Complimentary subscription to JPCL Friends’ Footnotes, the Friends quarterly newsletter which features information on upcoming Friends events, book reviews, and much more.
• A 10% discount on all your purchases at the Friends Gift & Book Shop (located at the Belmar Library in the Lakewood City Commons) which offers a large selection of unique cards, gifts, book-related items, and gently-used books.
• Free admission to the Preview Benefit at the Friends of the Library’s Annual Book Sale which is held in the fall each year. This is your chance to find that collectible book you’ve been searching for before the event is open to the general public!
